I have a range of bespoke Garden Design services which can be tailored to you and what you would like to achieve to create your ideal garden. 

I offer a free initial consultation (within a 30 minute distance of Great Missenden) to discuss your requirements, in which we have the opportunity to get to know each other and I can have a look at your garden.

I love working with people to create easy care, plant filled, outdoor spaces that everyone can enjoy.

Garden Design

If your outside space is simply not working for you or your family then this is the service for you. After meeting you and seeing your garden, I produce a fee proposal so that all costs in the design process are clear. This also includes a brief for the project so that we can make sure I’ve captured everything you’d like to achieve.

The design process includes:

• A site survey to measure your garden and analyse the soil, aspect and any specific conditions. For large or complex gardens I usually recommend a professional surveyor.

• Initial Concept Plans for discussion, including visualisations and suggestions for hard landscaping materials such as paving

• Presentation Plan including Setting Out plans, Construction Drawings and Specifications for your landscaper as required

• Planting Plans, including maintenance schedules if required

I can also suggest landscapers for your garden build.

Design fees for this package start at around £800 for Concept Plans and are dependent on the size, complexity and detail required for your new garden.

Planting Design

This package is for those commissioning a whole garden design as well as those whose borders just need refreshing. As well as providing a tailored list of plants for you, I will design your borders, creating a Planting Plan which details plant position and numbers required. Planting Design provides good winter bone structure in your garden as well as easy-care perennials and bulbs to give you colour and scent throughout the growing seasons and can account for existing cherished trees and shrubs.

For all my Planting Plans, I can prepare a maintenance schedule detailing exactly how best to look after your new plants. If I have set out or planted the garden for you, I will also come and see how everything is coming along after about three months.

Fees are dependent on the size and number of borders but if commissioned as part of a whole garden design, start at £650.

Expert Advice

This package is for those who aren’t sure if they need their whole garden redesigned and just want some advice. It’s perfect for people who aren’t sure where to start, might have just taken on a new garden or have a very mature garden which has just got a bit out of hand.

After an onsite meeting with you, I can provide written feedback and guidance notes as well as advice on how planting might be managed or evolve .

I can also produce a list of plants that will work well in your borders and which will thrive in your soil conditions, levels of sun and shade and with your preferences for colour and shape in mind.

Fees start at £200.
